On this session, we welcome jazz musician and composer, Felipe Salles.
We talked about The New Immigrant Experience, a recording release that represents a strong testament to the presence, experience, and inspiration by the lives of "Dreamers".

Dr. Felipe Salles who emigrated from Brazil to the United States, has served as a Professor of Jazz and African-American Music Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst since 2010, and is a 2018 Guggenheim Foundation Composition Fellow, among many other accolades.

Felipe Salles and the Interconnections Ensemble, a 19-piece ensemble, will have a concert at the Academy of Music Theatre in a live-streamed performance of the New Immigrant Experience on April 24, 2021.
