  2. 5th of 13 siblings, parents John Joseph Gotti Sr and Philomena Gotti

  3. The Gotti family would produce 7 made-man: Gene, John, Peter, Richard, Vincent, John Jr (son no longer member shelved, Ricard (Nephew)

  4. Convicted 1975 for attempted Manslaughter (lawyer Roy Cohn)

  5. In 1973 Gotti's crew attempted to abduct Irish gangster James McBratney for kidnapping Boss Carlo Gambino's nephew

  6. Gotti's release from prison in 1977, would become a made man as promised by Carlo Gambino

  7. Shortly after being made, Gotti was promoted to acting Captain of his old crew, as Captain Carmine Fatico is semi-retire. As a legal condition, Fatico had to stay away from his crew

  8. John as Captain of the Bergin Crew would report directly to underboss Aniello Dellacroce, Carmine Fatico retired

  9. In 1990 John, son 12-year-old Frank was killed in a traffic accident (heartbreaking)

  17. Gotti was placed on a 3 man panel to run the Gambino Family (Joe N. Gallo, Frankie DeCicco, John Gotti)

  18. A meeting of all the Gambino Capo's declared, John Gotti Boss and Frankie DeCicco Underboss

  19. 1986 Frankie DeCicco would be killed in a car bombing, ordered by Commission Chair Chin Gigante conducted by Anthony Gas Pipe Casso of the Lucchese Family

  20. John Gotti would be called by the media, "The Teflon Don" because he kept winning his court cases

  21. 1988 Gotti would order all his Capos to report to the Ravenite Social Club once a week (hated by the LCN)

  22. 1988, The commission would meet for the first time since the commission case of 1985. Gotti, Gigante, and Amuso

  23. Gotti attempt to control the commission, with various moves, such as Vic Orena, Joe Massino, and the NJ DeCavacante Family

  24. Gotti arrested Jan 1989, he would be found guilty and sentenced. The Gov't never got Gotti, Gotti got Gotti

  25. John J. Gotti died, June 10, 2002, at age 61 of cancer

  26. Nobody from the other families would attend the funeral
