  2. G-Shock a part of Casio Electronics which was founded in Japan in 1946

  3. In 1981 Casio engineer, Kikyo accidentally dropped a dress watch which, was a gift from his father, the watch broke

  4. Kikyo wanted to create a watch with impact and water protection

  5. Team Tough was created and made 200 prototypes

  6. During a visit to a local playground, he noticed a rubber ball bouncing and noticed that inside the ball was receiving no impact

  7. The Shock resistance watch would have 10 layers of protection

  8. Urethane rubber (Polyurethane) used in creating escalators, elevators bumps, shopping carts
