Reliving The War takes a weekly look at the Monday Night Wars. Every week, we look at WWF Raw and WCW Nitro with the goal of watching EVERY episode to see who truly won the war.



This week, the WWF are in Berlin, Germany. The company introduces a new title, The European Champion, and Davey Boy Smith vs Owen Hart will determine who becomes the inaugural Champion of Europe. Steve Austin cuts an excellent promo from WWE HQ, Bret Hart takes on Triple H, and the Sycho Sid defends the WWF title against Mankind.



On Nitro, confusion reigns supreme. Harvey Schiller makes an appearance and he suspends Eric Bischoff, only for Bischoff to show up later in a live nWo promo. Roddy Piper forms a team of nobodies - The WCW Executive Committee have added the Hot Rod to the Uncensored main event, but fans are still left confused in regards to what exactly is up for grabs at Uncensored and who will fight in the match. Piper chooses a boxer, a kick boxer and a former sumo wrestler to stand at his side during the Uncensored tag match, but who represents the nWo and who represents WCW is still up in the air.
