Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) is a serious viral disease associated with significant and preventable morbidity and mortality. There are an estimated 850,000-2.2 million persons living with CHB. Left untreated, up to 40% of those with CHB develop significant clinical consequences, including cirrhosis, liver failure, or HCC, and approximately 15% to 25% die from liver failure or liver cancer. Experts discuss diagnosis, treatment and management.
