"READ MY LIPS' akaRadioRed goes beyond the typical blah-blah-yada-yada canned interview, engaging multiple guests in spontaneous conversations.

What happens to good authors who can't find a publisher? Independent editor Lynn Vannucci saw excellent manuscripts fail to find a home with a publisher – and even previously published writers be let go from major houses. "But they were still telling beautiful stories – both fiction and non-fiction – that deserved to find readers."

When Lynn learned that technology would allow "a small, nimble publisher to help writers connect with readers in a more direct, greener, and cost effective way", she founded Water Street Press [WSP]. Today, WSP pays "to our knowledge, the highest royalty rates in the industry."

The stories Lynn most wants to tell are by women age 35+. "We know we are complex, diverse, our stories are rich and we are hungry for them to be told in an authentic way."

Lynn joins us with two WSP authors: Ann Royal Nicholas, author of The Muffia [Madelyn, a smart, 42-year-old professional mediator and single mom who's having the best sex of her life until …] and Marci Blackman, author of Tradition [Gus witnessed a brutal crime in his hometown of Tradition, Ohio, and fled. Now an old man, he is compelled to confront his past].
