After growing up "bare foot and happy" on an Illinois farm, Deeia M. Topp became a college gymnast and earned a BFA degree in Interior Design. After a year as an architectural firm associate designer, she "pulled on my big-girl panties" and launched Deia M. Topp Interiors – an award-winning high-end residential design firm – in her 1-bedroom apartment. Her first book was the novel, Complicated … By Design.
Today we welcome Deeia back to talk about her new non-fiction book, "Unconventional Truth" aka Life Lessons I Didn’t Intend to Learn.
Deeia says, "I’m no longer hiding behind fiction. I’ve removed the cloak, and am speaking my truth about my wildly intuitive world. I left behind my 27-year design career in Florida and moved to Idaho. I know, sounds crazy, but leaving it all behind has never felt so good."
She'll talk about Life Lessons I Didn’t Intend to Learn aka The importance of FEELING into Truth.
When Deeia appeared on READ MY LIPS Radio on August 22, 2016, she told us, "We spend more time designing our living spaces than we do our lives." She shared three easy ways you can design a less complicated life and find calm amid the chaos.
