Inspiration and Motivation for hockey goalies to use their stick more, use it wisely, and use it properly. From playing to coaching goalies for many years I've become an advocate of using the goalie stick as the primary tool of goaltending. I offer some tips on how to get young goalies to use the stick more through stories of some of my experiences. I've instructed goaltenders for a number of years at the Saint Mary's University Camp of Champions hockey school in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (it's also where I was taught how to teach goaltending) as well as developed and ran a weekly goalie clinic for the London Minor Hockey Association (London, Ontario, Canada).
