Auctions can be very dangerous. Back in March The Prop Store held an auction that included screen used items from the JJ Abrams, or Kelvin universe, series of Star Trek films. While we understand these films aren’t universally embraced by Star Trek fans, they are one of the rare things that all three Regular Joe’s agree they like. Which makes an auction like this, yes, very dangerous. For this week’s What’s in the Box our hosts dive into the long-awaited box of Treky goodness they bid on months ago and discover a few interesting surprises along the way. Also, they take a look back at the films from that series and assess how they hold up, and, in some cases, where they went wrong, as well as where, if anywhere, they should go from here. And, as always there’s the usual Random Topics. Live long and prosper ... or spend money as the case my be. Thanks for listening!
