He shares stories about the experience he gained declaring early for the NBA Draft following his sophomore and junior seasons before eventually returning to school and stories about his whirlwind pre-draft tour working out for teams following his senior year. He discusses his time on the Boston Celtics summer league roster and the reason he eventually decided to sign with a pro team in Italy. He also recounts his remarkable tale of navigating the COVID-19 outbreak in Italy, including playing games without fans and trying to get back to the U.S., all while awaiting the birth of his first child. Elmore also talks about how difficult it is to maintain confidence as a shooter, what it was like to play for Dan D'Antoni, and why he'd always choose himself to take the big shot with a game on the line.
