During this very challenging time in our country due to the worldwide Pandemic and surging unemployment stats, it is critical to strategically cultivate your network.


As we are now operating remotely, I want to share strategies for maximizing opportunities on LinkedIn. In recent years LinkedIn has become the premier business tool for connecting with counterparts within our industries, searching for jobs and professional opportunities, staying engaged within our prospective groups, or just simply staying abreast of the latest developments. LinkedIn is literally an opportunistic global professional network. And that is a good thing.


But are you maximizing all that LinkedIn has to offer? Specifically, Groups, topical editorial from LinkedIn editors, webinars, courses, and workshops? LinkedIn is much more than a tool for job searches, but rather a treasure troth of information to help you achieve your professional goals. For example, if you desire to enter into a new industry, you could utilize LinkedIn’s offerings to gain knowledge of that sector. That is, what is required in terms of education, experience, and/or professional certification, in order to secure a professional opportunity within that industry.


I am not a coach or LinkedIn expert; however, I have mastered strategies resulting in a network of leaders within my industry, resources and information which has served me well professionally.
