This podcast goes over the beginning of chapter three and the "Sugar and Stamps Sources" that we read for class. It talks about how the sources fit within the context of Colonial America and why the taxes may have been worse or better than the colonists let on. This section of chapter three goes over the different type of taxation that parliament tried to impose on the colonists after they had tightened their grasp on the colonies. The main ones were the Sugar Act, Stamp Act, the Townshend Acts, and the Declaration Act.
