It's Our Problem

Most of the songs on this podcast were recorded live a few weeks ago. Dan Wallack has joined the band on bass, and Jordy's taking his new cajon out for a spin for the first time.

"Shauri Yako" is Zulu for "it's your problem" or "it's up to you." The program proceeds with Lonnie (my guitar hero!) Johnson's "Falling Rain Blues" and then Kim doing "Lookin' for Answers" by Susan Tedeschi. We also do "Diggin' a Hole," which I wrote with Alex Panshin, "Like a Hurricane" from ourAvailable LightCD, and we end with our most original arrangement of half a dozen or more old hokum tunes, "Keep on Truckin'."
