Comes from a sports family with her mom playing tennis at Duke, her brother John played college basketball and her dad jokingly drank beer for OklahomaHer brother helped push her and played a significant part in her playing college basketball at Clemson University
Her dream from a very young age was to play college basketball and immediately fell in love with ClemsonShe jokingly likes to say that she’s the “least overall athletic person to play” but hard work got her playing time and she could shoot
She has always been hard on herself but eventually, she was able to understand that her identity wasn’t through sports but through ChristInitially thought she would be a professor but Jeff Kallin introduced her to William Qualkinbush and suggested that they have a radio show together
Believes that sports is truly a meritocracy if your willing to put in the work and basketball is not about me, its about the collective and that’s why sports are so importantWords of Wisdom from Kelly Gramlich:
