The guys were hot on the poor face-off numbers by the Vancouver Canucks and how it is an area of concern.

Seattle Kraken Writer for nhl.com and ESPN710, Andy Eide joined Wadden and JPat to talk about the new kids on the block. Says it’s a little surreal to finally have it but a ton of excitement. There may be some over expectations but it’s excitement overall. On the resale market they are seeing 2-3 thousand dollars for tickets. Talked about how the first time on the ice there will be before the morning skate on Saturday. Talked about what the market and the learning curve for new hockey fans in the city. There is 4 WHL teams in the state and hockey has been there for a long time. Hockey fans have been underground because there is nobody really to cheer for. Had to explain offside and how the players shift. Talked about fighting making it’s return to the modern game through the Kraken. Andy was shocked that it has happened the way it has. A lot of those fights were against Philly as a victim of circumstance. Doesn’t think it’ll be the team we’ll see all year. It did help bond the team, answering the bell.
