Rink Wide started off with a bang as news of 40 & 43 started to come in fast and furious. Andrew Wadden and Jeff Paterson went full out with their thoughts and takes on the two cornerstone players hopefully making their way back to Vancouver in the very near future. 

Patrick Johnston joined the show to break down the numbers that we are hearing for 40 & 43. Says they can’t hit the ice with the d-core they have now. They have to do a lot of work, still, to make things happen. They are on a very fine edge to make things work. Talked about Brock Boeser not being at practice today. Thinks signs yesterday, about working with the 4th line could point to something but let’s talk next week and see if this is still a thing. Probably not the end of the world if he isn’t skating at one particular moment. 

The guys came of the call with PJ continuing the Brock Boeser discussion but all roads lead back to Petey and Hughes. JPat talked about the goalie tandem.
