TOP POINTS FROM THE EPISODE:
Episode #177 with Gretchen Hydo- Break Free From Shame: Share Your Secret

As women, we have been conditioned to hide our ugly. We keep ourselves separate and isolated and live small because we feel shame about those ugly pieces of who we are and who we have been. When in truth, our ugly is oftentimes one of the most tender and beautiful parts of who we are. Our ugly gives us depth and the opportunity to reach others on a soul level. Shining our ugly has power. During this interview with Gretchen Hydo, you will learn that:
1. Your secret loses its power once shared
2. The thing that you thought was so bad is a lot like the monster in the closet. Although scary, it's been made bigger in your mind
3. Telling your secret connects - when people know your secret they have empathy, sympathy, and respect. They want to champion you.
4. You aren't alone
5. When you share your secret you free yourself and someone else.
6. Identifying that you have a secret.
7. What is it on the inside that you’re fighting against.
8. What do you believe about yourself that isn’t true anymore?Challenge your beliefs especially if they aren’t
9. Share it even if it hurts and is scary!
