Work It Wednesday Episode # 25 What's Your Plan for 2018? Join the founder of Rise Up For You every Wednesday as she brings motivation, empowerment, and inspiration in her 10- minute or fewer powerhouse episodes; "Work It Wednesday!"

Did you know that, according to research by the University of Scranton, "92 percent of people that set New Year's goals never actually achieve them!" That's partly due to the fact that many of us do not set ourselves up for success. We aim too high or too low, ignore creating an action plan, don't want it bad enough, and the list goes on!

Let's make 2018 a winner and achieve the goals we set in place for ourselves! Here are some great tips to help put us in motion and spend the next few weeks preparing for January 1, 2018!

1. Not too big, not too small! One of the most important steps to creating your goals is setting ones that aren't over achievable or unrealistic. We want to make sure our goals are within reach but still challenging.
2. Be specific! Goals that are too vague and not clear are likely not going to be achieved. Specificity is a huge component to staying on track and really accomplishing all the goals you set for yourself.
3. Accountable Friends! Let's be real, there are a number of times that I can remember when I fell off track with my goals because I felt alone or didn't want to miss out on the fun! Getting your community in on the fun and sharing with them your goals is the best thing you can do to stay focused.
