Ten years come and gone so fast
I might as well be dreaming
Sunny days have burned a path
Across another season
A fortune rises to the sky
Ten years come and gone so fast

~Paul Simon, 10 Years

This month, in celebration of both the name change for the podcast and my 10 years in business, I’ll be sharing the top 10 lessons I’ve learned in 10 years. I’ll be sharing two every Thursday in May.

And if you want even more insights, I’m sharing an entire year’s worth of lessons over on my Instagram feed. Yep, that’s 365 leadership lessons hard learned by me. You can follow me over on Instagram via my handle @stephaniepollockinc.

So, without further ado, lets dive in as I share two of my favourite leadership lessons. The lessons that made the top 10 list are those that have informed my business over the long-haul, not just at one point in time. They reflect business truths that when embraced, allow our work to work better - and when we forget them, things start to feel so much harder.

As you listen to these, consider how they’ve played out in your business and how much energy you’ve given to ideas that don’t actually serve your growth. While all 10 (or 365) lessons I’m sharing won’t be relevant to your exact situation, I’ll bet you can find some nuggets that do apply.

And then, take a page from Maya Angelou who once said, “When you know better, do better.”

Enjoy the episode!
