For the first time in Australia, a tribunal has ruled that a COVID-19 death was a work-related injury and the family of the deceased is entitled to workers' compensation.

The case involved Sydney resident Georges Sara, a dental technology entrepreneur who caught COVID in New York, in July 2020.
