Deadly Hendra virus more widespread with new strain - a podcast by ABC Radio

The Hendra virus, which can kill humans and horses, is more prevalent across Australia than previously thought.

The virus was thought to be largely contained to Queensland and northern NSW but researchers have discovered a new strain of Hendra virus in flying foxes in the southern and western states.
