The entire town of Wilcannia in New South Wales' far north-west has been asked to test and isolate after an infected traveller attended a funeral with more than 100 people present.

The town has already recorded six cases and the NSW Government has confirmed extra resources are available to ensure all 750 residents can get tested and get vaccinated as soon as possible.
