EU imposes sanctions on Belarus after plane diversion - a podcast by ABC Radio

The International Civil Aviation Organisation will hold an urgent meeting this week to discuss Belarus' forced landing of a passenger jet in order to arrest opposition journalist who was on board.

The European Union has now banned Belarusian airlines from European skies and ordered EU airlines not to fly over Belarus as western powers demand the immediate release of journalist Roman Pratasevic.
