In response to a rise in confirmed cases of the Omicron variant, the health minister Greg Hunt has announced that the Moderna vaccine is now approved for booster shots, along with Pfizer.

And in another change to the vaccination program, boosters can now be administered five months after your second COVID shot, down from six months.
