Humpback whale detangled from netting off NSW coast - a podcast by ABC Radio

A rescue mission that begun yesterday afternoon to free a whale caught in netting off Sydney's eastern suburbs has ended in success.

Police say the distressed whale had become tangled in rope attached to two buoys yesterday afternoon, but animal groups say they're still worried for its safety.
