As Queensland battles to get on top of its latest COVID-19 outbreak, over 400 health workers have been forced into quarantine due to links with the growing number of exposure sites, including seven schools.

Queensland AMA's Dr Chris Perry says the loss of so many critical health workers during an outbreak is having a "big impact" on both the public and private healthcare system.
