Health authorities are rushing a new round of vaccinations for aged care workers and residents at a nursing home in Melbourne, which was plunged into full lockdown yesterday after a worker tested positive for COVID-19.

Only a third of workers and two thirds of the residents at the Arcare Maidstone nursing home received their first vaccine dose and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation says the Federal Government is failing to protect vulnerable Australians.
