Security forces in Sudan have reportedly fired on pro-democracy crowds protesting against the military takeover, killing three and wounding dozens more.

Soldiers have arrested the Prime Minister and members of Sudan's transitional government- a move condemned by the United Nations, the European Union, the Arab League and the United States.
