Vaccinations for kids as young as five years old could start as early as the 10th of January, after the Therapeutic Goods Administration gave provisional approval for the use of the Pfizer vaccine.

The vaccine rollout will begin once the federal government's vaccine advisory body - ATAGI - also signs off on the use of Pfizer for under 12s.
