Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are far more likely to be in out of home care than non-Indigenous children, according to a new report released by Family Matters.

The number of Indigenous children living away from their families on a permanent basis is set to increase over the next decade unless the child protection system is significantly reformed.
