Traditional owners have occupied a camp opposite the Adani coal mine in central Queensland for nearly six weeks, under rights granted by the state's Human Rights Act.

Adani, which has been renamed Bravus Mining, has accused the group of trespassing to stage a protest under the guise of traditional activity but Queensland police have recognised their cultural right to be on the site.
