Did you know there are close to a hundred thousand abandoned mine shafts in Australia? And tonight our carbon canary is going back down the mines to chirp about a new gravitational energy storage technology hoping to use these disused mines to capture and release energy.



The start-up behind the idea, Green Gravity, hopes to produce clean energy by lowering weights down hundreds of the old abandoned mine shafts that are scattered across Australia.
