Charities win right to lobby government for change - a podcast by ABC Radio

After a three year battle, international charity Global Citizen - which lobbies governments to end extreme poverty - has won the right to obtain crucial Public Benevolent Institution status in Australia.



The win will have widespread ramifications for the charity sector, but the sector is not in the clear yet as it faces other heavy regulation.
