With the election now just weeks away the Federal Liberal Party is keen to move on from months of factional infighting over preselections, but there are still questions to be answered.

The New South Wales Court of Appeal yesterday dismissed a claim intervention from the Prime Minister, NSW Premier and a former federal president made 12 preselections invalid.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison defended his actions as necessary to protect female MPs on the 7.30 program last night.
