Vaccination mandate for Queensland health workers - a podcast by ABC Radio

A vaccination mandate will come into play tomorrow in Queensland after a growing number of UK-variant coronavirus cases in the state was linked back to two unvaccinated healthcare workers

News of the mandate arrives after the Australian Medical Association and the Australian Salaried Medical Officers' Federation found 43% of healthcare survey respondents had not received their first Covid-19 vaccinations.

From tomorrow, Queensland healthcare workers will only be able to treat Covid-positive patients once they have had the first jab.
