Another person linked to the Pullman Hotel outbreak has tested positive for Covid-19. The new case is the mother of the child who tested positive with the South African strain of the virus last week.
The father and child were moved to the Jet Park quarantine hotel - but the woman had been self-isolating at home.
Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins explained the positive test result came after a number of negative ones.
The Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield discusses the details of the case with Lisa Owen.
