Epiha tried to hide gun in Riverhead forest after shooting - a podcast by RNZ

It's been revealed a cop killer tried to hide his gun among pine needles in a patch of bush after fleeing from the scene.
Police have detailed how they tracked down Eli Epiha, after he shot dead one of their colleagues, Constable Matthew Hunt.
Epiha is on trial in the High Court in Auckland, where he has pleaded guilty to murder, but denies trying to kill another officer.
