Auckland's mayor has delivered a damning letter demanding answers from Ports of Auckland bosses, amid revelations there have been four stop-work injuries over the six months.
The port company has faced ongoing safety issues, as well as import delays, over the past year.
The Ports of Auckland management were due to appear before Auckland Council before for a scheduled committee meeting open to the public, but that's now being held behind closed doors to protect 'commercial sensitivity".
