New public media entity 'off ice', Faafoi wants quick progress - a podcast by RNZ

The plan to create a new mega public broadcaster is now "off ice" with the strong signal from the Broadcasting Minister he wants progress made at pace.
Kris Faafoi's announced an eight person governance group - headed by former New Zealand First MP and Cabinet minster Tracey Martin.
Its brief is to develop a business case by mid-year for disestablishing RNZ and TVNZ and creating a new public media entity.
