Parliament is being warned to tread carefully with its approach to the Russian ambassador.
The Foreign Affairs Select Committee is investigating if it can summons the Ambassador, Georgii Zuev, before them for questioning, after he's twice rebuffed requests.
MPs have asked for advice about whether its possible to compel him to appear, considering he has diplomatic immunity.
The Ambassador says he would have been delighted to appear before the committee, but the unanimous support for the Russia Sanctions Bill shows MPs have already made up their minds.
