Queen Street businesses are suing the council over a pedestrian trial - which they say has left Auckland's main street a "disgrace".
Barriers originally put in place for Covid-19 distancing were kept on by the council to trial a pedestrian friendly street.
Now, those opposing the changes are trying to put a stop to the council's plans to make them more permanent.
Reporter Louise Ternouth and camera operator Nick Monro filed this report.
