The Australian Government has made history, with the first deportation of a minor to New Zealand.
News that a 15-year-old boy is in managed isolation after being deported has added to the outpouring of fury sparked late last week when the Australian Home Affairs minister, Peter Dutton, described a group of New Zealand deportees as "trash."
Filipa Payne is the organizer of Route 501, an advocacy group for returnees.
She spoke to Susie Ferguson.
