A justice advocate says the ACT Party's law and order policy doesn't stand up to scrutiny - particular its proposals aimed at reducing gang-related crime. They include placing injunctions on gang members and monitoring their spending to stop welfare payments being used for alcohol, tobacco and gambling. ACT Party leader David Seymour declined our invitation to speak about the proposals this morning. Former policeman and National Party Courts Minister, and more recently head of the government's Justice Advisory Group Chester Borrows spoke to Guyon Espiner.
