The deadlock has been broken and Team New Zealand only needs two more race wins to lift the America's Cup and that could happen today.
The defenders now lead the series 5-3 after a roller coaster ride of mishaps and lead changes in race seven and eight yesterday.
As Felicity Reid reports if today's races go New Zealand's way the oldest trophy in international sport could be staying at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Club in Auckland.
