It was a night of celebration for Team New Zealand, winning the America's Cup at home on the Waitamata Harbour.
At last nights news conference helmsman Peter Burling said the win was all the sweeter for taking place at home while Burling's mate and flight controller Blair Tuke was also happy to win at home.
Luna Rossa was gracious in defeat.
The Italian skipper Max Sirena said the design of Te Rehutai made the Kiwis hard to beat.
