Major events in Auckland are in doubt this morning with the closure of the ASB Showgrounds.
The country's biggest events centre has gone into liquidation.
It follows months of arguments about rent coming on top of financial stresses from Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions.
One event due to take place this weekend - a classic cars auction - has been postponed.
The Auckland Food Show, the Home Show, and the Baby Show were also booked over the coming weeks as well as several concerts.
Kim Campbell, the immediate past chair of the Auckland Agricultural Pastoral and Industrial Shows board, a charity which owned the showgrounds, spoke to Susie Ferguson.
