Strong winds have battered Auckland overnight with the MetService is forecasting more gales in Auckland today.
Auckland's wild weather is caused disruptions to the roads, rail and ferries across the city on Tuesday morning.
Fire and Emergency have attended about a hundred weather-related calls since the early hours, with power outages and tree lines down.
