BNZ warns bank transfer reference fields are being watched - a podcast by RNZ

The Bank of New Zealand is warning people who send abusive and inappropriate messages in the reference fields of bank transfers that they are being watched.
The bank analysed data over the last six months, finding abusive terms and harassment.
BNZ General Manager Customer Assist, Martin King, says it is likely some abusers are using transfers to get around a block or a ban on social media, on messaging applications or via text.
He spoke to Susie Ferguson.
