Climate Change activists are less than impressed with the Climate Change Commission's final report laying out the roadmap to slash emissions and become carbon neutral by 2050.
The sweeping changes proposed include the requirement for nearly all cars imported by 2035 to be electric vehicles.
For agriculture, livestock numbers will have to be cut unless new technology becomes available.
Aotearoa is one of the first countries in the world to put the 1.5 degrees global warming threshold into law - yet it's still churning as much pollution in to the atmosphere as ever.
Climate campaigner and founder of the 1.5 Project Dr Paul Winton wants tougher targets.
He spoke to Susie Ferguson.
