Businesses are being urged to take advantage of government support to help cover their costs when a staff member has to self isolate after a Covid-19 test, but can't work from home.
The one-off $350 short-term absence payment became available in February and so far just over 6200 applications have been approved.
Gabby Adds from the employment relations advisor Employsure told RNZ social issues reporter Sarah Robson it is something businesses have been asking for.
